No, it's not butt hurt. I couldn' t care less about an American's opinion about Germany. It's just to show how propganda works and brainwashes people. Leaving out important facts and then make everybody say: they are right. I don't belong to this group of people, because I fact check myself. But many don't. And maybe some young people who are on Imgflip start to think about this when they read this.

Would you please state the facts correctly: the fascist regime did not just "politically imprison" people; it "politically killed" the people not agreeing with it (see e.g. Sophie and Hans Scholl) or having the wrong religion or ancestors (e.g. Jewish, but also others). And you are imprisoned, if you deny this, because it is obvious that you support contortion of facts, and that is the beginning of (in this case right-wing) fact-denying (or fake facts) propaganda ... and thanks, Germany had it once, it doesn't need that again. Freedom of speech is fine, but in Germany it has its limits when you are publicly (directyl or indirectyl) soliciting hate and potentially violence based on fake facts.
