Why are the "acid" attacks and knife attacks not on the same level as "violent crime"? Just because the guns are not as easy to get doesn't mean they are impossible to get. The violent criminals are just lazy or cheap or both and commit their violent crimes with what they have on hand. However, the law abiding citizens are left helpless.
