Buddy, Knives are also extremely useful tools that can be used to kill people, you going to ban those too so some mentally unstable guy doesn't get hyped up on bath salts, and then uses a knife to scalp and eat your face? Also criminals break the laws, meaning making a law to ban guns will only stop the law abiding citizens from protecting themselves and allow the "bad guys" and mentally unstable to mow us down in the streets.

Have fun with your crusade! (like honestly what is making a poorly done meme going to do to further your argument? The fact that you're actually trying to use a meme to make a poorly informed political point degrades any credibility that you may actually have. Sorry, I tried to avoid that ambiguity - the idea was that the 1% sets the agenda for the controlled media entities, and the stunningly ignorant go "OMG the NRA wants to arm the mentally disabled!!!!" and equal silliness, as witnesses the OP's meme.  But you're right, a reasoned discussion is pretty difficult to have.

How about this angle? Did you ever notice these shootings all have another common feature? They're all in "gun free zones" where responsible, competent gun owners are disarmed so they can't do anything to help.



You say only the police and military should have guns but you don't take into account the fact that banning guns won't keep them off the street since there are MILLIONS of them out there that are unregistered and untracked in the hands of people that would love to have you make sure their victims are unarmed and unable to defend themselves. With the police and military having guns now, they didn't do squat to help anybody, so why do you think it will be different? Banning guns simply makes sure that law abiding citizens will be unarmed. 



It's illegal for someone without a driver's license to drive a car, but it doesn't stop them. It's illegal to drive drunk and yet over 10,000 people a year die in alcohol related crashes. I don't hear you banning cars though, or even petitioning for alcohol sensors as a legal requirement. How about banning alcohol? Oh, right, prohibition proved that banning something doesn't make it go away.

His, like the rest of them, was legally owned. They didn't hike it to some gun free zone three towns over.



Banning alcohol worked. Too well. The criminal element that stepped in to exploit it was the problem. While figures weren't kept, hospitalization because of alcohol related illness basically disappeared.



How about not banning theft, rape, murder? Laws made by none other than God himself haven't stopped those either.

That's right, I didn't get that, because it was an lazy attempt at being disengenuous, only matched by your lame deflection. You didn't even try to refute anything I said because you can't.



Do your own homework. How can you expect anyone to be bothered to go offsite to read what you can't state yourself?



But while we're at it, there's a place that's not only the center of criminal enterprises, but at only 290 murders in 2017, the safest big city in America. Check out gun control in NYC, NY, USA.
