The way we created our policy to handle terrorists is at least 80% of the reason most people “radicalize” — the fair treatment of POWs was one of America’s greatest aspects. Without it, we’re no longer any better than the terrorists. And realistically, even they have the decency to kill the POWs after only briefly torturing them. The meme was just a joke. But after 20 years in Guantanamo, innocent or not if he’s released he will be 100% “radicalized” now.
