Chief Wahoo gone in 2019

Lifelong Redskins fan here..one who does not like Daniel Snyder as owner...I miss the Jack kent Cooke days....that being said, Snyder has done one thing right, he sent all of us fans an e-mail saying he would not change the name. I hope he holds true to that. I went to an Indian casino in Phoenix a few years ago wearing my Redskins T-shirt...I didn't even realize I was wearing it until the big ol Indian security guard at the door said "I like your shirt" . It's not the Indians that have the problem with the Redskins name, it's the snowflake white-guilt liberals that do.

I always liked The Redskins going back to Sonny Jurgensen and Billy Kilmer, although the Roman Gabriel, Deacon Jones, Merlin Olsen Rams were my favorite. In 1976 my allegiance went to The Seahawks, but lately I find myself "taking a knee" when it comes to the NFL. I really hope the NFL can find a way to separate entertainment and politics, but until they do, thank God for hockey (where they stand for two national anthems)
