I dont think racism exists to the extent that it is purported to exist but i think you can still feel the hugely positive effects of the urban development era of the 60s bypassing a lot of african americans because of being unable to get good jobs and home loans. That would trickle into the modern day as family wealth was less likely to get amassed and passed down and business and family connections werent as impactful and resulted in less opportunity.

Yes, but even so, a lot of people can still start a business, work hard, get scholarships, and change the history of their parents, and/or grandparents. For example, my grandma was poor, yet my uncle was able to start a business and get probably a little under one million dollars.
