I understand the rules say "be creative," but memes are meant to be shared.If I like a meme I see, I might repost it for others to see. If I know the creator of the meme (which most of the time I don't if it's from google images) I'll give credit.

Funny how most of you only focus on one rule while the others are rarely talked about.

Personally, I like some reposts and foreign language memes. In fact, when the Viral pages were around, there was a foreign language meme on the front page of Viral.
If the mods feature them, I give the good ones an upvote.

But, while we're on the subject, on the same screen shot above, it says English only.

It also says, in the official Terms, that memes are not supposed to be advertisements.

So, my point, and I assume others' as well, would like to see the mods do their jobs and not feature memes that violate these Guidelines and Terms.

Either that, or change the wording of the Guidelines and Terms.

I remember Jessica_ once saying that she simply hates seeing non-English memes and reposts getting featured while she has to wait hours for her memes to get submitted.For me,somethimes it take a few minutes,and sometimes a day for a meme to get featured,but I also hate seeing reposts(especially "What I if told you you read the top line wrong" and "How high are you? No,it's hi,how are you?") and non-English mems getting featured!

And I thought the exact same thing:why in the name if Dio are some of my(and quite possibly others') memes not getting featured when they don't violate anything,but obvious violations of rules are free to go!?

I flag the non English memes and use the Request Image Removal feature. I don't know if it does any good, but it gives me a chubby.

Lately, I've noticed a lot of memes that are blatant advertisements for businesses getting featured. I've only been flagging them, but perhaps I should use the Request Image Removal tool as well.

I haven't been visiting Latest section in a while,so I guess I've missed these ads.As if the Internet wasn't overfilled with ads anyways!

Yes, the Request Image Removal Tool is all the way at the bottom of the page on the far right.

All you have to do is paste the URL of the meme, enter a reason, and submit. You can enter your contact information or remain anonymous.

Again, I don't know if these get read or not, but it's there for us to use.
