There have been these movements to split California for several years. I don’t think it is going to happen. It does make me happy to think that while people in SF and LA are talking about California seceding from the USA there are parts of California talking about seceding from them.

Yeah, I think North & South Korea would become states 51 & 52 before any current states are subdivided. Rural counties being dominated by urban sentiments are no less common out West (CA OR WA NV) than they are back East (PA, NY FL) or the Midwest (IL IN OH). You vote anyway.
