The reason they lost in 2016 is because they thought that it was a foregone conclusion that no one would voter for Trump. How'd that work for them?

If they go into 2020 with that same mindset they'll lose again. You can't expect people to like you or vote for you just by showing up & saying "We're smarter than you therefore we know what's best for you."

Amen. I voted third party. I wish people would take Trump’s win as a lesson of what happens when you nominate two shithole candidates and learn from our mistakes, but the democrats will just get on their high horse and act like they’re not part of the problem.

Ms. Clinton actually did carry the popular vote. Mr. Trump, however, carried the Electoral College, and that is the Constitutional standard for winning the Presidency.

If Clinton's lead in popular votes could have been distributed into certain battleground states (where she lost by relatively small margins), then the election would have had a different outcome.

I wouldn't vote for any american president :)
