I realize you're joking, but Clinton did get a lot of people killed there. I Did have to look it up and there are a ton of conspiracy theories, surprisingly. One was that the CIA gave it to him when he worked for them. I think that maybe it was just to mock us. As good a theory as any :)

Now you've made me curious, because I'm sure that some of the guys wore forest camo, but I thought they had desert back then. Then again, the guys sent in weren't given what they needed, so it's very possible.

It was reported for years that Bin Laden wore the jacket of one of the guys killed in Somalia. Now, the news is 99.44% fake.

I wasn't calling you a liar, I just assumed that he would pick desert over forest, but it could also be that everyone sent wore forest in a desert environment.

I think maybe the issue with the news is social media making every comment, right or not, instant fact. True, there is a lot of spin to make nothing into something, but I could post a meme saying a politician of whatever group said or did something and people would believe it, because they want to believe it.
