A lot of McDonald's locations have the "Now Hiring" sticker on their front doors, even though they're not. It basically says "We're accepting applications for positions if someone is fired or quits"

good business practice, there's got to be high turnover in some locations

Maybe it;s a typo.
It's meant to be not hiring, but it was typed Now by someone who works in McDonalds.

It's actually not a typo, it's a sticker that's on the entrance on every franchise.

It could be one big coincidence

Yes, to lure college students who didn't do anything purposeful with their liberal arts degree, which their parents warned them they'd be working at 10 years prior.

Boi, no one does anything purposeful with Liberal Arts.

Well the myth goes that Liberal Arts Majors are unemployable: that's because they expect their degree alone to get them a job. The ones that get great jobs have business experience before they even graduate.

And besides, working at Mickey D's is an extension of college, since you're bowing to your superior (your boss like your teacher): you get rewarded with a raise (getting A's on exams) and sacked by getting fired (getting F's, suspended).

Ordered this a few days ago and, Seriously, half a strip of microwaved and dried bacon!? WTF!!

I think the loser part is for people that think that minimum wage job is worth something; so they drop out of school. They'll see a different life once they have one child.

They don’t even have McDonald’s in Iceland. Just Little Caesar’s and Burger King.

You're not the first, and you probably won't be the last. LOL. In retrospect, I should have enrolled as Comet_Hunter or some other name somehow associated with my hobby as an amateur & volunteer astronomer.
