What wite whale?

The white whale from the book Moby Dick. The name of the coffee chain is based on the name of the character of the first mate on the Pequod, which is the whaling boat Captain Ahab captained in the novel. Surprisingly good read, and not the dull story it's made out to be in jokes.

It's why the logo has a nautical theme. Starbuck was the name of the first mate in Moby Dick. I know - everything has an anime equivalent. :)
