New Year 2018

I look forward to the day when people care more about people than they do about their opinions, when truth is sought out with honesty and sincerity, and when one person getting offended does not immediately shut down discussion

A noble thought but every liberal that I have tried to talk to has reverted to trash talk, name calling and childish fits. Logic seems to anger them.

I find that a lot of the time people are less rational when they are defensive. Establishing some sort of common ground before pointing out the logical errors of the opposing side can work wonders (admittedly, though, there will almost always be stubborn people who will disagree and throw tantrums no matter what)
