True story?

I was first in sceen at a street race between two teenage drivers who at high speed coreened into a tree killing his best mate in the passenger seat.
Media. Courts and newspapers.
Same deal.
In the blink of an eye.
ALot of people's lives changes forever

Yeah. People's lives change. That's the reason why I made the call about this guy. He killed someone's child. Someone's sister. And come to find out someone's mother. He left the scene of a fatal accident. Changed his headlights, had his windshield fixed and went to a different state to his car washed and detailed. After I called the cops and gave them all the information they still found evidence on the guys car. I suppose on the undercarriage. He even admitted to the accident. But his parents money and high payed lawyer saved him from doing any time. When the trial was all said and done he didn't even apologize to the girls family. His ex wife who was our neighbor at the time still doesn't know that I'm the one who turned him in.

He should have turned himself in.

Thank you. I'd like to think so. That guy lost his marriage, rights to see his kids and many jobs because of his coke and alcohol abuse. At the time he was a chef. Every restaurant has a bar and serves alcohol with your meals. He was drinking on the job, which was bad enough. Then was stealing booze from work. No business is going to put up with that. And every time he faced criminal charges his rich parents bailed him out.

And yet the innocence of a childs life was taken away . I do not condone violence yet i wouldn't be control myself in his presence. Behind bars is too good for this piece of sh!t.

That's why I was balking at even submitting this. You know, the labels that I would get for turning the guy in. But, in my heart I believe I did the right thing and I know that if I killed someone while drunk driving I would take it on the chin and be a man about it. So whatever some of you may think, screw you.

I would have done the same thing. There is a record number of drunk drivers where I live and it makes me sick.

Really aggravating when they keep repeating the offense.
