American History has always been my favorite subject since I was very young! And I love the outdoors and nature! My Mother always said I was born a hundred years too late :)

My dad's 83 years old and a hard core Patriots fan. Guess what? He stopped watching all the NFL games because of the players who wouldn't stand during the national anthem. But, that's to be expected from someone who fought in the Korean War.

yea it is I am a huge steeler fan, and i did'nt watch the game when they decided to stay in the locker room during national anthem i turned it off the next week they all stood every one so I started watching them again, and one of our players is a army vetereran

I agree, he went out there because he was a veteran and not just a millionaire playing football so he has a better understanding than the rest what that flag and anthem stands for.

I don't even know why people are being assholes and not standing for the anthem.This country is becoming less and less united...

yea i know it is getting a bit ridiculous now, one guy did it and then now everyone is doing it i just dont understand it. My wife jessica said you dad was in the Army, I was medically retired after 14 years in the army 3 years ago. Tell him I said happy veterans day.
