Definitely. They exaggerate the small stories to make them appear larger, and often try to downsize the some of the bigger stories. In a way, its the media's fault that the NFL ratings went down due to the whole protest. Like you said, it would have died down long ago, if they hadn't exaggerated the story.

I'm adamantly opposed to these so called protests & protestors and if that's what you're saying then we agree. I just think that your visuals need some work.

I see what you mean. I realized that Kaepernick was in the top frame sitting down, only after I posted the meme. But yeah, what I was trying to say is that the people who were taking a knee during that protest were essentially denouncing their US citizenship. If Kaepernick was in the lower frame, it would have been perfect. The top frame with the group of guys standing during the pledge was meant to be the square that pointed out who real Americans were, if that makes more sense.

They are not protesting America or it's flag. That is the narative you folks against it are saying. All along it has been about racial injustice from day f**kin one. I personally dont give a f**k, sit, kneel, stand, or suck a dick. I watch hockey mostly anyways. Just because you don't like what they have to say, doesn't mean you can change the story to suit your own misgivings about race relations and excessive use of police force. Annd yes I do believe athletes are way way way over paid, and should start getting their word out in a different way, since most of you people are ignoring what they are tryna say.

I'm not completely against what they are trying to say. It's not that at all. I'm just mad that they are doing it in a sporting event with the purpose to entertain people, not to show people their political opinions. If we wanted that, why on earth would we be watching football. Also, of all ways for them to make a statement about police brutality, they had to make it during the national anthem, which is our way of saying "I'm proud to be a US citizen". If they don't like this country, then they can leave. I honestly don't care. As long as when I turn on my TV to watch sports, its showing sports and not a political rally dedicated to showing how stupid Trump is, I'm good. (Okay movement, just very poorly executed)
