Re-watch the movie. The STATE is an illigitimate tyrrany - orchestrated not for 'the common weal', but the enrichment of the Treasonous Conspirators. Amongst the Crooks is the Bishop (who prior to the Magna Charta was often 'the Court' - tho officially separated by William the Conqueror - see Avalon Law Project) who gets robbed of his ill-gotten Lucre.
In any event 'WAR' - is the reason given for the THEFT, and impoverishment of the people...So what's changed?
And before all the GOP InvertedAllStars jump in (as I see already happening) - Huey Long was a Republican (but an ACTUAL populist....and ACTUALLY POPULAR, for some reason). He fought for the common folks, the way TRUMP and the GOP fight for BILLIONAIRES and CORPORATIONS (who are all getting the really significant tax-cut). He ACTED like THEY TALK.
