NFL Flag-haters

I think their cause is a good one, but this kneeling business is just dumb. If they really cared about their cause, they would put their money where their mouth is, by investing in the relevant areas (to improve living conditions and education), so that there less people turning to crime for a living, putting less threats onto police, which in turn should lower the amount of police brutality cases, since they will be less paranoid about being shot.

Just my thoughts on this, of course, but ones that show that these people are kind of hypocritical. They claim to want to fight police brutality by doing nothing to solve the
problem.

My thoughts exactly. Why don't they invest their money to help? They've got millions.

Imagine this, you had a massive tumor that you didn't want people to know about. Your doctor, instead of curing the tumor, told everyone he knew that you had a tumor that was embarrassing.
Result?
the Tumor is still there. They didn't help remedy the problem, instead just pointing it out.

Nice analogy! Racism is like a tumor for this country. A malignant one! And maybe we haven't been cured ....yet. But awareness is crucial... As long as the false-patriot quack doctors stop trying to lie and say it's something other than it is. People need to understand what a big problem this is. And it's mainly the racists who benefit from the status quo that are against it. Sometimes all it takes is for a spotlight to illuminate the ugly truth and wake people up to the reality of what's been going on for too long under the cover of ignorance. Now everyone knows and is talking about it. Shame on everyone who's trying to use the memory of dead soldiers to silence them!

True... I'm in agreement that it is a problem, my analogy was just pointing out that the football players are like the doctor who just pointed out the problem. Trump is worried that they'll do actual action, like what I describe in my comment, so he wants it to just be talk. Talk is what the Democrats have been doing, to very little effect, so he can easily dismiss them easily if they create only talk.
The Quacks should be rooted out and shamed for it, for all I'm concerned. They're just making this worse.
Keep in mind, we're closer to equality than human beings have ever been since... ever. Any time period has some form of prejudice on a minority, whether ethnic, religious, or nation based. What happens these years are tame compared to human history. We aren't at perfect equality yet, but are darn close.

I have AA friends and you would be amazed at the things racist people have done to them. We should be a lot farther along than we are. In this day and age, it's mind-blowing how backwards this country still is in this area....
