I was trying to go with the most notable cowboy actors that I could think of. I think Roy Rogers might not do well. But his credentials speak for themselves. I never seen that movie, I need to check it out. I'm not really an expert on western's, I seen most of Eastwood's movies. And Tombstone is my all time favorite western.

You could never have an exhaustive list. lol I just posted here because it is memorable for me. :)

The Duke, he was in 84 westerns. John Wayne made the image of how a cowboy walked and talked, and showed a cowboy's movie.

The Singing Cowboy. Roy Rogers, also know as "The King of the Cowboys", has three stars on the walk of fame for radio, television, and film. With his trusty horse Trigger, Rogers dominated the movie westerns during his time. Roy Rogers is a two time Country Music Hall of Fame inductee.
