Movie Week starts today. Ice Age Week ends tomorrow I think. Hard to keep track. :)

Honestly, I've had enough of the "weeks" and RARELY participate...if it's your thing, then great, have at it. It just seems that a lot of users take advantage of it to pander for upvotes.

Just so you know, myself sees it as having fun with a theme. I can see it as what you describe completely. I truly had the most fun with B&W Week, just with the comments alone. People have been hitting me up for themed weeks, I'm happy to help. If your tired on the "weeks", that's cool. :)

I think you're getting older than 2009 memes

I have a story about R2-D2 and a trash can. When I was in grade school, probably around the time Empire Strikes Back came out. So it was about the 5th grade when the whole grade school did a project of painting garbage cans similar to the one posted. Each grade did a can. My class did R2-D2. That garbage can was still there the last time I check about 6 or 7 years ago. And I bet it is still there today. It's cool that something that I actually help paint is still in use. Thought you would like the story, and thank you so much for getting this to the front page at the time of this post.

Think of all the generations of kids who threw something away in your can and for a moment thought about what a cool paint job that was :)

If I go back again, I'm taking a picture. Don't know why I didn't before. I can always post when a Star Wars meme shows up. I hope it's still there. I'm sure it has been touched up through the years.
