seriously, we can put a lot of pressure on ourselves. some is good, but life should be enjoyed. each day is a gift, and all that jazz. right now, try a simple deep-breathing exercise for 5 minutes. slow, deep breaths. clear your mind if you can, or think of someone you like.

I used to not understand the appeal before, but now I'm hooked on coffee for the taste. I used to think it tasted like shit, but now I usually need coffee after bread or pastry.

Breathing exercises might help alongside getting back into yoga...

in some way that's pleasant and distracting from the things your mind tends to brood on, that's all. insomnia's a pattern to break, at least it was for me. i got a prescription for an anti-anxiety med and took it at a minimal dose for a few months just to help me sleep. getting a more comfortable bed also helped a lot. now i'm med free and sleep well every night. if i didn't limit my triggers, i'm pretty sure i'd go back to insomnia again. ( :

I was making leaps with it for a few months before I made that meme. I just fell off routine. Shit's important. Gotta get back into the nightly and wake up rituals, and getting back into daily exercise because honestly I just got lazy as f**k the past couple weeks lol
