It takes some work to stay on the 7 day leaderboard. Making comments on memes and answering replies will keep you up. I'm fairly new and had a 2 week run. There is about 10 people who keep tabs on each other. They are accepting to anyone who are not nutjobs. Myself, I try to keep up with certain memers. If they comment on my meme, I try to check out their stuff on their profile page. Sometimes it's hard to look at all of them, but I try. Best thing I can say is to stay active.
