Points come and go, but any meme can take off regardless of how it does on this one site. People share our stuff all over the intehwebz, I've had stuff bomb here and do amazing on other sites when just one person that saw it posted it. You never know what might take off somewhere ;)

Those other sites suck, I've messed around with reddit and imgur, had a meme get reposted on reddit and it got close to 100,000 views there with like 500 upvotes. Thing is a lot of people on those sites like to troll more than take the creativity seriously. You won't find a better place to be creative with support than imgflip. All I'm saying is you can have stuff blow up on these sites and not even know it. The internet is amazing and our stuff gets seen by a lot more people than our on this site sometimes. Of course we then have to realize how lucky we are to be able to be a part of all of this in turn. Imgflip gives us a platform to express ourselves that can literally go worldwide if we are lucky and creative enough.

I really didn’t realize so many people saw our memes. I guess so since you can share it if you’re on social media and whatnot. Well if there are lots of trolls on there then I won’t bother. If it’s someone nice trying to get their stuff noticed then that’s fine. But jerks can kiss my muthaf*ckin grits! Lol

Some random guy on Facebook used one of my memes on a random political thread. I didn't know the guy, either. It was awesome!

On some site it's almost like a competition to see who can be the rudest to somebody and get a reaction. They come here and aren't used to being told they aren't welcome. Though there are many ways to exploit and manipulate points on here that some take advantage of. It's kinda silly because in the long run you either make good memes or you don't. All the points in the world on this site aren't going to get your meme to go facebook viral. But a good meme with little points always can if it's good enough to be shared and original it will be. I've had many people comment on memes that are over a year old because they got passed around somewhere. You can fight for points here, you can be a big deal even, points just can't make you go viral all over though. Only funny original stuff can do that, just be true to yourself and your type of humor. Make memes that make you laugh as you are creating them. If you don't enjoy doing this and need points to make you happy about it, you won't last long term doing this. It has to be fun to make a meme that gets 1 upvote or you will end up making stuff just to get points and then the level of creativity drops immensely.

Just my opinion, it's up to you to decide if it is worth anything ;)

Lmao I’m getting there. Yeah I get what you’re saying. I think it is fun to get points but like I said I mostly like commenting with y’all. It’s fun for me. No judgement and I like getting it to know people. I do wish we could have a way to list friends on something so I could remember to look at everyone’s posts.

Someone used a meme I made here. It was in a comment section on Facebook. Just some random dude using it as a comment to some political thread. I had to make sure it was mine, so had to look through my memes and found it. Best feeling I had in my meme making career.

Well, whether you're on the left or right in the political world, as long as you're respectful with me, I'm respectful back. There are lefties on this site that I get along with because they can discuss things without calling names. Octavia_Melody is one of them.

And I can respect those with differing opinions without being hurt over it. I was in the Army for a few years and I don't have an easy life as it is, so I can take someone's opinion.

I’m really neither and I can say that even if someone disagrees with me politically, it’s not a deal breaker for us to be friends. I saw something you said about abortion and I will just say that I agree with that. Men should have a say so. And women should not get to make all those decisions.

Yeah, I try to stay away from political arguments, but I get sucked in all the time. lol. It's just in my nature, I guess.
