So did guns. I was making reference to the platform, ie., tablets, tv's, cellphones.
Basically if we can't upgrade our firearms because it was meant for "muskets only" then the news can't upgrade to new platforms and must stay on printed paper.

I've said that for a long time...If you wanted "freedom of the press" to be enforced in relation to the technology of the time that the First Amendment was written, then it would only apply to printed material and speeches, not TV, radio, movies, internet, etc.

Unfortunately I fear progressives may take that argument very seriously when and I they regain control of all 3 branches again. Eliminating dissenting speech. It is kinda happening with YouTube and Facebook deliberately silencing (through de-monetization) some conservative platforms. Aaaand i get that those are private entities, but c'mon.
