There's some evidence alcohol is a natural part of prehistoric culture, and perhaps even the cornerstone of Christianity.
How did you even dredge this? Which reminds me, why is this so applicable? Modda's on my ass atm, as usual, and he's from N.Y. and i remember him making a booze related meme.
Originally, alcohol was 3% wine, and i believe it was a way of preserving fruitbased beverages since salt probably doesn't work.
As for DMT, i don't know why everyone is so gung ho about hallucinogens. Weed is plenty harsh nowadays, and mushrooms are easily a different dimension.
Then again, if it's not particularly addictive...
But i think a few of my friends fried themselves with acid.
Of course, most english net people are American, so it's pretty easy to rail against the insane law drug laws.
The main cause of difference between Canada (where i am) and America is obviously the religious puritanism, but most people discount the temperature.
Western culture is pretty doped up, and we'd likely kill alot of people if the drugs went away.
/end rant/
I think i had an image that reminded me of you. I'll fetch.
