LOL $10!!!! That stadium was an insult to humanity, originally built for a quasi words fair called Man and His World ( could they still call an event by a misogynistic name?) I think the folk in Montreal are still paying for it!

But I was a teenager. It was the "Wish You Were Hear" tour, first time I heard DSotM performed from start to finish. God those were some crazy ass days and lots of exploring altered states of mind. (This is not an endorsement of exploring ones conscious. Stay away from drugs kids)

Lol. I know, right? I love the older Floyd albums, don't get me wrong, it's all awesome! My personal favorite is Live in Pompeii, listening to that the whole way through is a religious experience for me! :)

I absolutely agree, that album is pure gold! Careful with that Axe and One of These Days are my two favorite Floyd songs, particularly the Live at Pompeii versions. Truth be told, it's almost impossible to pick "One" favorite, or even two, even though I did, and that could change, too! Lol

Gilmour has been my favorite since I was a kid in the 70s and 80s. That person who said he just played loud never sat in a dark room and listened to Dark Side or listened to the wish you were here album. Those albums end before you k is it because they demand attention, and they flow so easily. It's like listening to Echoes and being mad it's only 23 minutes. I want more.
