What if, when Jesus insisted he was the Son of God, he meant he was the son of god like everyone else is the son of god and that was why he was sent here. Because all of the most important stories, noah, daniel, david, etc were stories about regular people who had faith, not in God, but in themselves--because the point of the whole story was that we're all created in the image of god and all we need is faith in ourselves to make miracles happen...?
