You're kidding. I'm Australian & here, unless your at a private school that has a uniform it's up to your own personal taste what you wear. Once you get to work it's a different story. My daughter was told to put a jacket over her top.a few months back at work because her sleeves hung low & showed half an inch of her bra strap. So I suppose the fashion Nazis are creeping in here now too.

In America, the dress is just stupid. REALLY stupid.

Oh well, keep at it & maybe u can change things one day. There's a lot of bad stuff happening out there & to tell you the truth we panic sometimes about some of the creeps you may encounter when we're not around. The school authorities are probably reacting to them & not to the clothes or the people who like to wear them. Even if we get it wrong (oh yeah do we ever get stuff wrong) we're just trying to do our best I'm a world that's a long way away from what it should be. Best of luck mate & try to be patient. We're only senile old fossils after all. :-D
