Are they on public property? If they are people can agitate to have them removed. If they are on private, as are many Confederate memorials, then people can agitate also, but as private property people can keep them up - unless they agreed with the desire to take them down, then as priavte people they can remove private memorials off their land. Outcry is pointless. It is not a battle of tit for tat. You won't convince me of the righteousness of your cause simply by reversing the argument, and not answering the original question by doing so.
