I started the whole campaign about the downvote timer partly because of my problems, but also I went to check out some of Octavia's politicized messages and found that on some of the streams his most innocuous comments were being downvoted to 'low rated - click to show'. That's something that shouldn't exist, even for the most obnoxious comments. Anyway it just p!ssed me off that these people would be so small-minded as to mass downvote comments of his that were nothing compared to what surrounded him. :P
