Visited Portland this summer, it was definitely different! The food there was fantastic. I live in Denver though, so plenty hipsters here too much to the annoyance of the locals (hipsters driving up our rent!).
That tends to happen. Yeah, craft beer and food tend to be the religions here. I've had a few Denver craft beers; it's a rich scene there. Our two cities and San Diego are the cities to go to if you want to be guaranteed a good local beer. :)
