Yes I surely was Lol, and we sure had a bunch of them back home years ago! The area towns were all old mining towns that boomed in the late 1800's through the 60's and since all of the towns were on old route 66 there was plenty of watering holes! But all the old taverns are gone now :( Yep you got it right, people from Oklahoma are known as Okie's Lol

Sooner was a name given to settlers Lol. I like Okie better :)
