Why do you care who people have sex with, if people want to sleep with other people of their gender, let them! It doesn't effect you, and it doesn't matter if they are Homosexual, Heterosexual, male, Female, Pan-sexual, or even nonsexual. It doesn't matter.

The better question is, why people want to get married so baddly, specially with the cost of marriage and the cost of divorce? I think you are completely ignoring my point. "entitled to their possessions after death" this can be arranged in a will, does not require marriage. Again, why bind and give away your freedom, earned money, for something you do not believe in. Marriage is hard, and sucks, see there is a face of marriage that the majority of humanity ignores, and it stinks. Have to be bound to that person for the rest of your life? really, well that is not the case anymore since you have divorce, but then the half that is the least educated and has the crappiest job can take your hard earned money away, just because people "change"... Marriage is not easy kid. It is not something that should be tossed around so easily. Many people get married, but really do not know, understand, and grasp what marriage is all about. perhaps it is just like college, at one point college was the way to go, as it will be the only source to get higher education. Now, you have many sources of education through the internet and most of them are free, college jsut guarantees you a debt and not a job, and most employers like to hire someone who can teach themselves and are fast learner rather than someone that wasted 4 to 8 years of their life on a degree. We see this behavior most commonly in the IT field... where all the jobs are going to. Marriage is perhaps the same way. The old ways are going and the new ways are coming in, why get stuck in the old ways... Just like college, marriage for most of the people just add years of debt and disappointment. See this kinda information will not be available in Bridal magazines, that is the face that capitalists media hides. Do some research about how big is the divorce industry in the US and then you will start thinking like me.
