Postmodernist, the New Left, Keynesians, Progressives, Critical theorists, and cultural hegemonists -- they have all drank from the same waters that sprang from Rousseau and flowed through Hegel.

Right Hegelians became fascist. Left Hegelians became communist. Marx is the best know Left Hegelian. Hegel was a dialectical idealist; Marx a dialectical materialist.

One of my interests and fields of study is philosophy, particularly political philosophy. I am a "classical liberal." That is, the first wave of the Enlightenment -- especially John Locke and Adam Smith. Today that makes me a libertarian. I'd suggest History of Political Philosophy by Leo Strauss and Joseph Cropsey. It is considered a good mainstream and respected source. My latest read is Explaining Postmodernism by Stephen Hicks. You can find a pdf online and youtube has an audiobook narrated by Hicks himself. Jordan Peterson and Stephen Hicks explain that the Left is so critical of the Enlightenment values of Western culture, that they will accept a Faustian alliance to attack the West.

Maybe it's freedom of religion. I am not particularly pro-Islam, but I hapen to be pro-constitutional rights (y'know, like you conservatives claim to be), even the times when I personally don't like the people that use them.

That's how Muslims are successfully taking over France, England & Germany, working with secularists like you to create a void of spiritual apathy and ignorance, then they come in and fill that void so quickly and overwhelmingly that by the time you realize what's happening it's too late.

I'm saying Sharia practiced Islam as it is practiced in Iran & many parts of the Middle East will lead to stoning, gays witches and lesbians being tossed off buildings, genital mutilation, honor killings, justification of rape based on the males testimony & basically most things Liberals call themselves fighting for including abortion will be banned and enforced with harsh punishment or death. How is that for clarity?
