Our culture, our mores, our laws are based on religion.

A society that moves away from religion weakens at its core.

Those needing some sort of structure, cause, renewal then seek it elsewhere.
This is why in a place like the UK - once the mightest empire on earth - is a hollowed out paper mache facsimile of itself where moslems are taking over - not only via immigration, but by conversion.

And for the record, I haven't been to a real church mass since 1985. So I ain't proselytizing,,,

In comparison, no laws, no country, no empire has ever been born out of of mental illness,,,

The reality of God is the most basic and inescapable reality there is. Now how by the way do you explain the persistence of religion throughout the millenia? Do you consider the irreligious the rare special ones who are free to look down on the oh so dumb religious folk? You want to feel so speeeecial but would likely run and hide like a frightened child when capably confronted with the various legitimate arguments supporting religion. You are enslaved by your arrogance.
