I could never delete my account at this point, even if I were miffed enough to want to leave. Too much of my life put into it. ;P

I actually took a year off and came back. But when I left, I had no intention of returning. But I missed the cool people here

I thought about taking a few months off after the election but the call was too strong. I just decided to hang more with the funny people. There are plenty of good people on here and they're usually easy to spot. There was a user, who will go unnamed, who I thought was cool but who screwed me over last week by flagging me for spamming when all I was doing was linking another user to some memes I had put up. It was pretty obvious I wasn't doing so and the user got a little arrogant. So now I have another name on a long list of those to avoid. But for the most part I get along. Even with those whose politics I abhor when they're just being funny. :)

Same story...I needed a meme generator and created an account with my email username. After alienating just about everybody on the other site I started posting here with much better results. My only regret is that I didn't choose a more creative username. :)

Memeing is quite a skill, still got to learn from you guys, specially in "meme wars". lol

I'd say you're doing very well, in my opinion! As I believe you know, you learn a lot and get ideas from everyone else here. And I've never met a group of people so nice and wanting to exchange ideas and be so cool in general! I think Socrates taught me the best lesson, which is, make a meme, submit it and have no expectations whatsoever! Because ImgFlip will defy logic every time you put an expectation on one of your memes. The ones you think will do good, won't, the ones you make in 2 minutes and submit will do really well! I just find a template, look at it for a few seconds, write in text and throw it out there and don't look back! And the other thing Socrates said, "Just have fun!" :)
