Before life got in the way and I'd been going 4 years 2-3+ times a week I was never 100%. I've sprained almost every major joint in my body (neck, shoulders, elbows, wrists, ankles) except my hips and knees. Throw in a sublexated floating rib, raw knuckles, mat burn and it wears on you. BUT IT'S FUN AS HELL!!!
After a while your body builds a tolerance to bruising, so I stopped being able to make funny excuses where my bruises came from.
