Being AT THE BALLPARK (not yelling, just emphasizing) is amazing fun!

I don't like baseball...at all. But years ago a friend of mine scored tickets to a doubleheader Padres vs Angels and invited me to go. I had never been to a pro sport event before so I went. Yeah, the crowd and atmosphere makes a difference. It was fun. Recently though I got to go to a pro football game...now THAT was amazing. Especially since the home team won. :-)

The problem in Denver is that football tickets are hard to get and, when you do find them, very expensive. I've been to one Broncos game in the last 20 years of living here and that was only because I won the tickets in a raffle.

I only got to go to the Cardinals game because a Canadian gal pal of mine was down visiting and she bought the tickets. She's a big CFL Roughriders fan and has season tix but she had never been to an NFL game so she treated me and 2 other friends. I'd marry that woman if she didn't live in the freakin cold.
