Also, if God is real, why should the government be centered around him?

Showing a quote from a false "prophet" doesn't prove anything. Man allowed sin to enter the world by directly disobeying God's command. God created perfection and man destroyed it.
What about LGBTQ people? If we were all created in God's image, why is it ungodly to be gay, trans, or non gender-conforming?
If we were created in God's image, why can't men or women be nude and proud of it in public?

Adam and Eve were naked to begin with before they sinned. Once Adam bit into the forbidden fruit and sin entered man, the first thing they realized was their nakedness.
As for LGBQ people, that is a product of man's sin. God did not create man to be with man or woman to be with woman.Romans chapter 1:26-32 talks about man's wickedness which include homosexuality. Man is not born gay.
Just read the verses of Romans Chapter 1, and it says nothing about man not being born gay. In fact God wasn't punishing them for being gay. He was punishing them for being lustful, as He also punished men and women in relationships surrounding lust. In short, a man having 3 wives is more of the sin than having a husband.
I also read a bit more Romans, and apparently God doesn't like people judging each other, which is what conservative politicians in America do to the LGBTQ and other minorities all of the time.

Romans chapter one talks about sins of the flesh and homosexuality (man with man, etc) is just one of them. Man shall not lie with another man (woman with woman), he shall not lie with the beasts of the field.
God talks about man not judging man, as He is the ultimate judge, but judging the sin. We are to judge the sin, not the person sinning; that is God's place.
What I'm mainly concerned about is why people take the Bible up to a political level where it needn't be, or use it as a political advantage. Some people don't believe in the Bible. Some believe in the Koran. I don't, obviously. In fact, I'd openly criticize Saudi Arabia for their anti-gay laws, even if it meant the death penalty for me; I'd probably be dead the moment I set foot because of who I am.
I just don't see why America needs to be Christian Saudi Arabia, however. I don't know why people need America to be a "Christian Nation". Sure it was founded by Christians, but so was Britain; one of the most well-known secular nations to be ran by nutjobs. At least their conservatives have some respect for others. Boris Johnson is better than Trump.
