1983, I got my first getto blaster, and two horrible cassettes from my mom, M. Jackson, and the Mini Pops. my first maiden album was the first album on cassette. i spent hours with that album trying to learn the bass parts and the guitar parts. if i learned nothing else i learned patience. play 10 seconds of the song, pause, try to play it on guitar, rewind, replay. to this day when i hear strange world i can still hear the place i would pause during the second solo.
