I believe it comes down to what you're in the mood to play at that moment. Sometimes you want something more melodic, and other times you just want to bang your head. It's all music to be appreciated, and live is always better, but I may be a little spoiled in that area. :)
And on another subject...Would being told never to come back to a state be similar to being kicked out of a country? :)

I would have to agree with you on that one. I sometimes think that each guitar has its own songs its just up to the player to fund them.after all they are all unique. Different trees have different tones etc.
And yeah i love live. It really doesn't matter if its a stadium or the local bar or some of the best jams i have ever had were just with friends and family at partys.

I seen the crue when thay toured with kiss and. .. kiss were in fire literally. Lol some of the crews stage prop gas cannons set fire to the back of house and it was a nightmare. So gene stepped up to the mic and sung solo until the roadies sorted out the plan b amps :) ace cabled flying over the crowd from the desk tower playing a solo and the crowd just went nuts .best night ever .
Music truly transcends all :). And even the high of proforming is better then sex. When you see people smiling and dancing to your tunes its the best reward ever :)

I have met mr via and he is truly a talanted player.i do like the atmosphere at big stadium profomances .:) the last gig i seen was guns and roses and it was great to see slash and axel evan in there older age still put on a great show.im sure you have seen some awesome gigs though

For example my most recent quest would be trying to help bring my local corrupt government down. And because I see a lot from a different perspective, the city dislikes me, but the residents seem to love me. Also in upvoting your memes, I did see that we have a similar philosophy for life. That life is an adventure, with it's good and bad times. But if you learn from the bad times, you can use that information to help others in the future, so they don't find themselves in the position you were in.

I had the privilege of seening sabbath on their last tour here and it was awesome.
Evan iron maiden went off. I think personally when these mistalgic bands tour what makes it so cool is the fan base :) all ages and from every walk of life in ine place with one goel , to rock out with thier favorite bands..that my friend is the essance and the common bond that music has an influence on people.:) i hope that makes sense

I too have found that life is sometimes the best teacher. So how could you not learn something new everyday, if you're open to it. And sometimes in life your experiences can help so many others (if you haven't noticed I try to go for some of the bigger things sometimes that can help more people) as well as our friends. Although I also think it's a good practice to try and help people in different ways everyday. Everything from making sure an older person is able to cross the street without being hit by a car, to sharing your knowledge and experience with others, to not only help them, but to let them see that they can help themselves too. And everything in between. :)
And thank you I did have a nice day, and got several things accomplished. I've also enjoyed the chats, as you call them, that we've had. As well as finding you to be very nice. :)

She brought me a new modeling amp and it kicks ass so many solos to come. After i work out its hundreds of presets h will probably never use but it rocks and is a hell of alot of fun :)

Friends are there so we do remember the good times and the not so good ones too. Then we can truly appreciate the good times, and learn from the bad ones. So we don't make the same mistakes again and to help others from falling into the traps we did. The people your close to can be the most precious thing in the world in life. And in my opinion way more important than money or monetary items (except for your guitars to you).
Or what about this life is an adventure, but there are just little bumps in the road that have to be overcome and gotten by. And we all have those little bumps in the road, but that's often what makes us better people. :)
Then regarding your struggle with your studio, might the fact that you're trying to control it to the point of perfection be the problem? I know that everything needs a place and it needs to feel right and comfortable to you, but might it be better to just sort of work itself out? Instead of being frustrated about it. :)

And as you know there are so many different things that musicians do (whether part of the act or not) that to some may seem a little (or a lot) different to most people. Where as you and I just seem to be able to trade stories about those kind of things, because it's normal or expected to us. Another example might be how Har Mar Superstar performs in his underwear, and that's all. :)
And If your guitar or guitars weren't there you'd feel like someone ripped parts of your body off you. I can totally understand. :)

Yes we've all done crazy and dumb sh*t, but I personally believe it's all part of the experience. Although you're right if we end up with a smile on our faces, and others do to, it's worth it. In addition to sometimes even making it more fun. :)
And I'm sure your studio will be fabulous when to get it together. And in my going through life I've found that things that are really worth it require effort to make them work. I'm sure your horror story with the studio will be over soon. and it will be exactly how you want it. :)

I agree :) all worth it. It wasnt until i meet up with some dear old friends who i respect emencly and we were reminiscing of the past and it occurred tk me how lucky we were to have had such opportunitys. Great times and some really had and trying ones to i have lost a lot and gained too that is held dear to me. I hope that makes sence.
And my studio is a mess and every time re configuration is has the wrong feel or sound. Just frustrating at times lol

But please don't think we're that different, I have lists of sh*t that needs to be done. And due to there only being 24 hours in a day, sometimes that is a hindrance. In the end I get as much as I can done, and if the things I'm not able to get to continue, eventually I get to them. :)

I find that unlike other people I don't walk around with blinders on. Which is to my advantage due to it usually equaling me coming up with or finding something that others missed. And although it kind of makes me a troublemaker to things like my city government, I think it's fun. As well as on those brief occasions actually making a difference. Isn't that what it's all about? :)
