According to Conservative United Statex Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts, "The federal government may enact a tax on an activity that it cannot authorize, forbid or otherwise control."
I agree. My point is only that everyone, including the Supreme Court seem to feel that the Constitution is not a fixed contract, but something that bends depending upon society.
The next time that we are in the midst of nation building, and that new nation needs a constitution, we ought to give them ours. After all, it's been many, many years since we've used it.
SO SHOW ME WHERE IN THE ENUMERATED POWERS OF THE UNITED STATES FEDERAL GOVERNMENT; THE CONSTITUTION SAYS ANYTHING ABOUT HEALTH CARE BEING A FEDERAL POWER.
