Especially for its pacing. When the pitching coach goes to the mound I ran quick-step to the fridge for more vittles. That's a good thing. :)

In fact, I have a hard time deciding which playoff I like more: hockey or baseball. Those sports tend to get their best games then.

About 10 years ago, maybe more, Ottawa came close to saying goodbye to their NHL team. I was so happy that they were able to keep them. Because I love a good story, I have rooted for them every year since then

I figure most people are aiming for a Penguins-Ducks final, but I'm rather hoping for a Predators-Senators one. I'd have a hard time choosing then.

in a week it will be Ottawa in the Stanley Cup Finals.

That would be a great story after that city almost lost the team at one point! I'll be rooting for them

it is time for the Cup to return to Canada. I was hoping for Ottawa and Washington in the semis.. both countries capitols would have been interesting.

I remember Henry Winkler one time on Letterman. Dave mentioned that he thought he would be cool like that in real life. Winkler's reply.. it's called acting. Hard to explain the setup.. but it was hilarious.

If you ever saw him in the movie "Night Shift" with Michael Keaton back in '82 you wouldn't believe the difference between his character in that movie and his role as the Fonz. Night and day!!
