While the left isn't thrilled about Pence having to take the reigns, even they would rather have him than Trump as president. He was put on the ticket to balance out Trump's extremism. Latest I'd heard was Trump allegedly tried to get Comey to drop the Flynn investigation. If that turns out to be the case, then congress will initiate the articles of impeachment under the heading of Obstruction of Justice. The way I'm reading it, if he is impeached, they won't let him walk away with a slap on the wrist like they did with Clinton. It'll be an RNC coup just like Hillary Clinton's nomination was a DNC coup. Only difference: the DNC broke the rules to get Hillary in that position. The RNC is able to play by the rules, oust the guy they really didn't want, and put in the guy they did. No rule breaking and they played Trump's supporters like Heifetz plays a Stradavarius.

I'm no big fan of either of them, and I've had Pence as a governor. The powers that be are setting us up for a civil war, but they may discover it to be a revolutionary war.
