I bought a new car and three days before leaving to take it on vacation I washed it and polished off all the water spots. The next day at work I came out to find someone had dragged a ladder across the passenger side. (We had painters working on offices at the time) Of course no one admitted and it cost me $500 deductible to get it fixed, but not in time for my trip.

Be glad that you don't live in Colorado. My car now looks like cottage cheese thanks to golf ball sized hail.

Its a blue bird. Took the photo myself. And I use to have to park under a walnut tree. I feel your pain.

Regarding the bird...I realized after I posted that last comment that I was only seeing the chest area, not the top and back.
