Hell, most people just call me Swiggy and I don't have a problem with that. I've gone by that moniker longer than most of the users here have been alive. 1970 to be exact.

No, those that worry about insignificant things are okay as long as they don't over-react. Heck, I've even had people write checks to me as Swiggy. And I was able to cash them. (I took in a copy of my book, The Books of SPAM, to prove who I was if needed) When a person's reputation is on the line, it's better to ignore a small indiscretion in a name that was not meant to offend, than to blow it out of proportion. The person that does that is thought less of than if they just ignored it.
