I reckon there will always be some dinosaurs living among us! But I believe it is good and bad in all races. I have many black friends here in Alabama that I trust more than some of my white friends, and my two youngest children are mixed race, black/white card carrying Cherokee Indians who I have raised to be and are very respectful of everyone! :)
Yeah, I looked at the Wikipedia entry and they're an LA gang with roots in El Salvador. I had read a couple articles on them and they are the nastiest. They basically control prisons in El Salvador where they are locked up.
Maybe, but they're also infested along the US's east coast, including Providence RI, which is one city over from me. You may have heard recently that New York City has officially declared war on them. For obvious reasons
What I thought was unique is that they started in LA among Salvadoran immigrants and then went back down south. Providence and Portland are often compared as 'progressive' cities but here our gang issues seem to be standard-issue African-American ones. Here people kill each other primarily because they are obnoxious loons.
Even fighting and killing over "turf" is somewhat understandable. But to commit such atrocities as a means to join a gang or just for the fun of it is --in my view-- a concrete definition of "evil"
