Rochester NY had a big problem with kids stealing Electric Avenue signs back in the 80's.

My friend from there says every now and then a mom cleans out a kids room when the move away, and find one. I guess thats how they pop up at garage sales from time to time.

When I was younger, the big thing was "High Street" signs.
