Atlantis was Minoan. Although located on Crete, it bore more resemblance to Persian than Greek civilization.
If by African you mean Sub Saharan, they never even made it to North Africa. Also to none of the surrounding islands unless brought there by others, like Madagascar. Smaller isles were uninhabited till fairly recently.
