My father and grandfather were both pastors. My father has said that the Jews were only allowed to whip 39 times. However, the Romans whipped Jesus, and they had no whip restriction. They whipped Jesus to the point where he looked like he couldn't take anymore beatings without not being able to get up again. In conclusion, it was much worse. It's amazing what God chose to do to save people who were so wicked and depraved. However, this is a wonderful meme. I appreciate people who make Meme saying what Jesus has done for us. Thank you :)
